San Salvador - Sara Ventura Ruiz 


My hometown is in Tarragona near el Vendrell. It's very small town and even though it has very few inhabitants, it can be full of people on summer.

There a beach, of course and also there are a few supermarket. 

You can find a lot of hotels and shops. Every night they organize a traditional market; The village is divided in two areas: The first area is the touristic one, which you will find as soon as you arrive. The second one is connected to El Vendrell and it is not as attractive as the first one. 

I only spend a month per year there and I look forward to it for the rest of the time.

It doesn’t have many public services and the train station is near my home. You are close to beach and gardens.

One of my favourite places to go in summer is the S’alguer cove, where is in Palamós. I like it because it’s calm and pacify and I also have friends there.

It is a cove so it only has rocks, no sand. It is a disadvantage of people that are using to go to the beach but it is a benefit for my family because no one disturb us.

It’s small but it’s enough for a few people. There are crystalline water so you can see everything with your diving glasses. There are a lot of types of fishes even you can find octopus!!! The water are so cold but it’s perfect in summer. It’s important that you wear diving shoes because there are a lot of urchins.

In bad weather, I recommend that you don’t go there. The ocean waves are high and dangerous too, and you can be hurt for the rocks.

If you like bays more than beaches, don’t miss this wonderful cove!!!

Pantà de Sau

I'm going to describe The Pantà de Sau, is situated in the Vilanova de Sau town and in the comarca Osona. It's a natural reservoir of the Ter river and what makes it special is that in the middle of the reservoir there is a church.

Pantà de Sau is very important for me because I remember that I went there when I was a child and the reservoir was dry so you could walk to the church. But last summer I returned because there were a musical festival named Bioritme. Since there I fell in love with that landscape, I saw it day and night and in the night was more beautiful. Now there is water in the reservoir and you could swim until the church bells.

I love all nature landscapes but this, for me, is very special.

Landscapes

One of the landscapes that I like most are the large fields with many trees.

I love nature. When I go to my town, I feel so good and in that place I can do many things without distractions, because one feels good about nature.

For me, the landscapes of open fields, with many trees and mountains is awesome, but if these fields, moreover, have villages, I would stay there for the rest of my life. In fact, I have been saying since I was a little girl that when I was older I lived in the countryside, but I would never stop coming to Barcelona, ​​because I like it a lot, too.

In conclusion, all the landscapes where there is nature, I love it and I will never stop it.

The Lake of Banyoles

One of the places that I have recently visited is the Lake of Banyoles. I once went there but when I was a child so I didn't remember much. The Lake of Banyoles is situated in the comarca Pla de L'Estany, in the province of Girona. It's a natural lake named after the town of Banyoles which is next to it.
The way you see the lake depends on the season or the weather. If you go there at summer the environment is very sunny, happy and full of people. When I went there it was winter and the views were amazing, it was raining and there was fog everywhere. The atmosphere was misty and very calming because there was hardly anyone. Also there were ducks and many birds around.

Another thing about the Lake of Banyoles is that there's the legend of the Banyoles monster, a moster that lives in the depth of the lake.

In my opinion, it's a wonderful and  beautiful place to go, relax and enjoy nature

I'm going to describe Cadaqués, the Magic Village of Catalonia.
I spent my last holidays there, it's a village near to Roses, on the Cap de Creus. It's a little fishing village, very well known because Dali had his house nearby.
All houses there are white, the streets are narrow and the road is made of stone, there isn't sidewalk, and the village is full of beautiful flowers wherever you go.
The crystal clear water of the beach, the kindness of the people and the variety of activities make this village perfect to spent a rest week.

Kyoto: Discovering the traditional Japan

We all know about Tokyo, the current capital of Japan, but it’s not that common to speak about Kyoto. I visited Kyoto last summer during my journey around the most important cities in Japan. I really loved all of the places I had visited but Kyoto was my favorite by far.

Kyoto is known for having more than one hundred temples around the city. The most important ones are Ginkakujin, Kinkakujin and Fushimi Inari-Taisha. All of these temples are surrounded by forests and gardens that are perfectly maintained. Also, if you travel to Kyoto, you have to go to Gion. Gion is the street that keeps best its traditional looks. On this street you can find tea shops, art expositions and even if you’re lucky enough you might see a geisha!

If you’re looking for a place that holds its Japanese tradition, you need to go to Kyoto! You will love it!
